CRA ranking system.

Introduction

This is something Rug has been wanting to do for a little while now, so I'm going to try to set it up.

The basic idea is this: There are five ranks:

~Chick (0 points)
~Newby (100 points)
~Intermediate (150 points)
~Pro (200 points)
~King (250 points)
~God (400 points)

You start at 'Newby' rank, and you try to move up to God. If you lose all your points (down to 0) you become 'Chick ranked'. (thanks for that one, Stray. XD)

Each rank also has another point system; this other one decides how many points you gain or lose for each battle.

~Chick: 5 points.
~Newby: 20 points.
~Intermediate: 30 points.
~Pro: 70 points.
~King: 100 points.
~God: 150 points.

Everyone starts at Newby rank, just because it's to hard to figure out the details of it any other way.

To get the losses and gains, you just add the point numbers together, and add or subtract depending on who won.

For example, if a Chick wins against a King, the Chick gains 105 points, and the King loses 105 points.

I'll keep a record of your current points here, but you have to use the chat to set up matches.

Rug: 100 point(s).
Sylar: 400 point(s).
Mega_Rat: 80 point(s).
Stray: 80 point(s).
Tempo: 100 point(s).
T4U2D: 100 point(s).

Can you go past 400?

I think we should add some points (since king rank is 250 points and all starting points together makes 500 only 2 people can be pro ranked at the same time)
meaning the rest would be out of the game?
there must be some other way?!

Hm. I'll add some extra.

EDIT: I'm going to make this easy on myself: Once you hit God, you can't lose any points. Anyone playing you can gain points from a win, but you won' lose any.

Also, I'm dividing the ranks into two categories: God, King and Pro are the Top category, and Intermediate, Newby and Chick are the Bottom category.

Top Vs Bottom: If the Top player wins, it's a 10 point gain; if they lose, it's a 30 point loss. If a Bottom player wins, it's a 50 point gain; if they lose, it's a 10 point loss.

Top Vs Top: 20 points for a win, 20 points for a loss.

Bottom Vs Bottom: 20 points for a win, 20 points for a loss.

There. Done.

This confusing ... seems a rather steep loss of points also though ...

Shucks. Bottom Vs Bottom is supposed to be 5 on either side.

It doesn't need to make sense; just report the battles here, and I'll deal with it.

i think it makes it easier and more fun for every1 if they know how it works.
Why dont we just do : the winner gets the amount of points that the rank of his opponent gives (so automatically the points wil be subtracted from the loser)
I think every1 will understand it

Also i won 2 ranked battles from Mega could you change my rank stats ?

Okay, it's your idea. Don't feel like you have to ask me change anything.

How about 10 points?

According to my calculations it's 40 points.
Since mega and i are both @ newby rank and newby rank gives 20 points per win,
2 wins = 40 points that would be taken away from Mega .
Since 20 points per battle is way to much if u ask me ,i suggest we make a full match 1 win?
So Mega would lose only 20 points.?

Okay. How about 10 points from the loser to the winner, and we say the winner is whoever wins the whole set?

So Sylar steals 100 ranking points from me.
I drop to intermediate and Sylar needs 50 more points to reach God Rank
