I want to see how my customizations are.

I'm kinda new so I only have two semi-good combos:

Earthquake Falcon
Luna
Glider
Crescent C
Wave
Ground

I thank Mega Rat for help on that one.

Gravity's Rage
Leon
Gravity
Burrow P
Throwing P/Throwing D/Sky Wave
Ground

I can't decide on the pod. I hope this one is good. And I also have this ominous feeling like someone uses this same combo...

First one is good, short hop spam bombs mixed with ground shots, high aerial gliders and waves mixed in...good.

Second one...speed p. You can use throwing if you want, but speed gives you a little more versatility.

This customization might suck just because I thought of it off the top of my head:
Ray Sky
MSG
Crescent P
Diving
Plus One

use booster legs on that Ray Sky set and it should work pretty well, though try using Double Wave pod instead of Diving.

Not to sure about the Crescent P on the Ray Sky though, MSG covers a wide area, so it"s better to block routes with a bomb. I forgot if Crescent P had a small blast radius. =/

I really don't wanna say burrow bomb though. xD

Geotrap works well for blocking, Also Charge is quick so it works well with MSG and it can be big so it's possible to use it like Geotrap. Crescent C is also with MSG for combos.

No booster!

Then what kind of legs DO I use then? And I can't really get the hang of the charge stuff so I'll probably use Geo Trap.

Booster, Ray Sky has crazy air speed and booster just makes him almost uncatchable without some good anti-air stuff.

Plus One works just as good if you want to stay in the air, but you'll become more obvious over time.

They both have +'s and -'s. This decision depends on what you want or feel feel right for you.

Im having a problem where I keep getting hit with my own double wave pods instead of them trapping my opponent. What technique should I use to avoid this? Or should I just switch the pod altogether?

fire the pods just as you jump but before you start flying, or fire them then fly in the other direction, msg and geotrap have good range so you should still be able to hit your opponent.

you are getting hit with double wave's because you are most likely aiming the pods straight into your fly path? since your holding the button in the direction youre flying in ( it wil also throw the double waves that direction)

Try not to touch the direction pad while throwing the double waves

Also great set! try using it with AIRS body he can fly twice and really fast due to booster legs

I'll try it with the AIRS but I just like to keep it strictly legal. I like the Ray Sky cuz it also has enough defense and endurance to stay up for a bit, as opposed to the AIRS.

I don't get the WiFi CRA needs but at my grandparents house I get it so I'll be there probably Sunday. I'll be practicing:) I'm so excited that I actually get to battle one of YOU GUYS, the PROS!

Dude, Rug could use full basic and beat you. So don't feel bad if you lose...he's been playing for a long ass time, and he's pioneered some of the friggin cheapest sets and techniques.

If you want some advice, stick to anti air sets against Rug, and play it super defensive.

Agreed, But even Rug has his ways around anti-air sets ... or I just sucked at covering the air, one of the 2. xD

I know I should use anti air, and I won't feel bad if I lose, partly bcuz I KNOW you people have been playing for a long time. But I want to use that ray sky set bcuz he wanted me to try it out. I'll probably try out my other two as well. I'm using this to see what I need to work on, to better myself, because I KNOW I'm going to lose. But that's alright for now. I'm still pretty new to this, compared to u guys, so I come with an open mind.

Gods I wanna play again ... but the DS lite just feels weird in my hands. >_>
